Stellan has too much of an edgy vibe for Blomvkist. Maybe jeff bridges from lebowski, or bill pullman from zero effect, or even indiana jones. The scene where he bursts into lisbeths room in the first book unininvited is the essential character-- I also feel he has a erudite bumblingness about him... For this type of movie though, I guess they can just erase that and make it pitt, clooney, depp, or cage.
I'm not convinced. When I read the books, it's always Skarsgaard who I see as the character!
